We not only take you from antiquity through the Middle Ages and early modern times to contemporary history, but also offer you further thematic specializations in Eastern European history, global history and economic history.

Our degree programs are consecutive, practice-oriented and interdisciplinary. You will gain a comprehensive overview of the historical epochs and sub-disciplines, acquire the tools of the historical trade using specific case studies and finally learn to work independently on topics of your choice.
