The Numismatic Collections at the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf
The Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf owns one of the most extensive and varied numismatic study collections in Germany, with around 8.000 ancient coins and 15.000 casts. Certain sections of the collection (in particular, the Roman imperial coinage of the third and fourth centuries AD and the Roman provincial coinage from Asia Minor) are of high academic interest.
